Rubber Production Work Flow
1. Evaluation of Demand & Price Determination: Lasparsan submits a competitive price, after customer gives basic information about the product regarding demand.
Four Factors When Determining Your Price
- Considering if any quality criteria is specified related to product by a Standardization Organization in customer’s country,
- Considering requirements of customer’s request, If there is no significant standards,
- Considering monthly & yearly quantity of customer demand,
- Considering additional requests and expectations of customer regarding tolerance rate that affect product quality,
2. Preparation of Technical Drawings: Customer submits technical drawings and samples of spare part that will be produced to Lasparsan. Product’s features such as dimensions, tolerances, raw material and technical data specified in drawings will be taken into consideration at production unless not specified in the contract. if customer does not know specifications of product which is demanded, customer should provide information such as place of use, data about needs etc. Thus Lasparsan produces products that work smoothly by gathering the necessary specifications.
3. Approval of Order: Preparations for production begin after Lasparsan is agreed with its customer about price, payment term, delivery term and other conditions.
4. Determination of Technical Characteristics: A detailed "Technical Feature Detection" study is performed by Lasparsan in order to produce product in accordance with standards and other requirements which will meet needs of customer.
5. Mould Preparation: Required moulds are designed and produced by depending on quantity of demand.
6. Preparation of Formulation: Measurements are performed by laboratory analysis in order to eliminate variabilities because rubber raw material is mostly chemical based on agriculture and seasonal factors affect product & production. The formulation of rubber raw material is determined that ensures product specifications at the end of the process.
In order to obtain the products that have the same characteristics, formula corrections are performed for long-term productions continued and multi-party deliveries.
7. Kneading of Rubber: Alloy-line is preferred depending on formulate that will be prepared and tonnage that will be consumed in order to ensure time efficiency and desired formulation is not affected from chemical residues negatively. At the result of tests, alloy to be used at production through acquired formula is keep on hold, performing the pre-mixing process.
8. Resting: Substance at the intermediate form is keep on hold between 0 0C and +10 0C through considering seasonal conditions, after the alloy is obtained. Lasparsan executes the resting process at the production line, which is considered as an essential process by Lasparsan, which is a laborious task in terms of logistic and costly operation in terms of inventory cost, in order to eliminate the factors that affect the product quality such as degradation of polymer chains caused by over-kneading, rubber products’ loss of viability due to early vulcanization and mastication, negative effects upon elongation at break and resistance to aging.
9. Trial Production: New moulds produced, formula, product dimensions and tolerances are controlled in order to ensure production of a large party correctly. Our customers can observe trial production that carried out perfectly & smoothly in the Lasparsan facility, If customer requests.
10. Laboratory Tests: Our customers are able to check if specifications specified at the order stage are suitable through tests that are demanded from Lasparsan or made by customer.
11. Production:
Production is carried out with more than 50 pcs hydraulic press through fully automatic horizontal and vertical injection methods or conventional methods which are done manually, depending on qualifications and production levels of product which will be manufactured. With the press, it is possible to produce rubber products from 1 gr. to 80 kg. weights and from 1 cc. to 0.6 m3 volumes, be placed any kinds of metal and plastic frame inside rubber, coat different kinds of metal and other materials.
In the metal production line of Lasparsan;
In addition to mould production, it is possible to make production of all kinds of volumetric and cylindrical forms and shape metals and also apply rubber and plastic injection on these parts through the process below;
- Laser cutting
- Plasma cutting
- CNC vertical machining centers
- CNC lathes
- Plastering
- Sand-casting
- Centrifugal-casting
- Die-casting
- Eccentric press
12. Quality Control:
In the Lasparsan Laboratory, it is possible to make product’s analysis and tests at the below
- Physical dimensions
- Density
- ü Breaking strength
- Values of Elongation and Elasticity, lifetime
- Reactions of products at extreme cold and hot temperatures and their life
- Abrasion resistance
- Resistance to chemicals
- Aging Life
- Ultraviolet resistance
Also, determination and measurement of vulcanization curve that is the basic measurement of rubber process are performed through various rheometers
13. Washing - Ultrasonic Cleaning - Sanitation:
Removal of physical, chemical and biological effects is provided, depending on customer preferences or field of use of product.
Chemical treatment for products in contact with human body and sterilization for medical products are applied.
14. Packing:
Products can be prepared as packages and pallets, through filling shrink, plastic bags and cardboard boxes according to field of use of product and customer needs. Any required texts and labelling can be applied on each kind of product and / or packaging. Also International coding standards, barcodes and stickers can be applied in accordance with customer request.

Ash test is carried out in order to determine content of inorganic substances of elastomers that contain organic substance in the Lasparsan Lab. Data obtained as a result of test is evaluated and purity value is determined.
Tensile-Rupture test is carried out in order to measure resistance of elastomers against to applied force and determine stamina of elastomers against to the force. Accordingly, rate as percentage (%) between initial and last sizes is obtained through tenstile-elongation test.
High and low temperature tests are carried out, depending on operating temperature range of all kinds of elastomers in order to determine changes and behaviors of product at extreme (cold/hot) temperatures.
Changes in elastomers, as results of effect of heat, light, oxygen in a certain time period, which are subjected aging test in the Lasparsan Lab are examined. We determine changes in hardness, tensile strenght and elongation after and before tests.
We carry out abrasion resistance tests in order to determine durability of elastomer in an environment with friction.
There are some more tests we have done in the Lasparsan Lab., that can not be declared explicitly at our web-site, We have a great know-how obtained through over the past 40 years experience in the tests of elastomers and complementary chemicals and the formula archieve, which provides us to achieve the best results, is our actual richness.

Ordering Procedure
Determination of Product Price
Price for rubber products determined by Lasparsan is as follows:
It is calculated by considering basic inputs such as required raw material for production, labor and energy consumption. In determining the price of product, cost of rubber mould is not included in price directly and it is determined in accordance with the following principles;
Factors affecting Product Price Determination
Three important points are taken into account in determining price of product.
- Availability of Product Mould: Cost of mould is not calculated if customer has required mould of product ordered or it exists in the Lasparsan archives.
- Number of Mould pores: This factor is about “how many pieces of product is manufactured in the unit time by using a single mould” and the details of this procedure is described in the section of “Mould Dimensions”.
Ownership of Product Mould: The cost of mould will be deducted from price set by Lasparsan through depending on mould being owned of customer or Lasparsan. This procedure is described in the section of “Mould Costs”.
Mould Dimensions
Moulds are produced depending on order quantity. With reference to;
One-eyed for 1000 pcs orders
Three-eyed for 5000 pcs orders
Sixteen-eyed for 100.000 pcs orders
moulds can be manufactured.
Number of pores at mould increases cost of mould that will be produced, however it reduces mould cost per unit, depending on order quantity. In this context, product cost will decrease as long as order quantity increases.
Mould Cost
Cost of mould that will be produced is directly proportional to number of pores. Cost of required mould for production of product belongs to customer.
Two main approaches in determining cost of mould can be selected;
Mould Ownership belongs to Customer: Mould that will be produced by Lasparsan is returned to customer after production of final product is completed. In this case, only cost of mould is requested from customer.
Mould Ownership belongs to Lasparsan co.: After 20% of amount is deducted, production cost of mould will be requested from customer, if mould that will be produced by Lasparsan is not returned to customer.
Producing Samples
Before approval of definite order, manufacturing a sample is not charged if study of sample is required by customer, on condition that product mould already exists in the Lasparsan archives or customer has the required mould.
However, cost of mould is requested from customer without approval of definite order, if a mould should be produced in order to have a sample. It progresses as mentioned in the previous clauses of this procedure.
Warranties
Lasparsan accepts and undertakes
Compatibility between production and sample approved by customer, before confirming order, if manufacturing a sample is requested by customer
Compability between production and technical specifications defined by customer
Lasparsan replaces faulty and defective goods with new ones or deducts covered money which is determined mutually, considering customer’s demand features, If product is produced as faulty and defective.
